Victoria and David Beckham's relationship began when most millennials had to get home before the street lights came on. In other words, they have been together for 20 years! That's about as long as Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have been together for over 30 years.
What sets Victoria and David's marriage apart is the fact that they both had very good careers and seemed to be doing well. One is a former Spice Girls member who is a successful fashion designer, and the other is a high-profile soccer player who continues to receive bouquets of flowers. It doesn't get any better than this!

1997
The two first met in 1997, and David Beckham detailed how they met in an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Ironically, David Beckham believed that his relationship with his wife had somehow gone awry. he said: “She was at the soccer game, and I said hello from across the room, and that was it. I thought I missed my chance…” As far as we can go, that's true It wasn't!
Victoria actually detailed how much their meeting had influenced her when she appeared on the cover of British Vogue in 2016. “And, sure, love at first sight exists. It will happen to you too in the Manchester United players' lounge. Even if you are you,” she wrote. The exact details are hazy as I get a bit tipsy. ”
Years later, when David appeared on The Jimmy Fallon Show, he talked about that night in a little more detail. “We talked for about an hour in her players' lounge. She wrote down her number on her train ticket, which I still have.”

January 1998
The two began dating in 1997 and got engaged the following year. As Victoria's British Vogue letter said, “…love at first sight exists…”
Apparently their love was very passionate as Victoria and David Beckham were expecting the birth of their son at the end of that year.

March 1999
Victoria gave birth to Brooklyn Joseph the following year and also talked about the origin of his name in her book Learning to Fly. “I always liked the name Brooke, and then all of a sudden I thought of Brooklyn. I've always liked Brooklyn as a place. It's so multicultural, so down to earth. ,” she said.
July 1999
According to People magazine, the couple wed in front of less than 30 guests at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland.

September 2002
After several years of happy marriage, the couple revealed they were expecting another baby, welcoming son Romeo James in September 2002.
February 2005
After David signed a contract with Real Madrid, the family moved to Spain and welcomed their third son, Cruz David, in 2005.

July 2007
When David's contract with Real Madrid ended, his family happily returned to the United States due to his new obligations with LA Galaxy. Victoria told PEOPLE that the move would be “particularly good for the kids…It'll be great to have so much time outdoors. Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz were all 10 years old at the time. It was less than that.”

August 2007
Shortly after the couple moved to Los Angeles with their sons, rumors began to spread about David's alleged affair. Victoria told W Magazine: “I'm not going to lie, it's been a really tough time… David and I got through it together.” She also said that marriage will not be a walk in the park, but it will bring the two closer together.
July 2011
By the summer of 2011, Victoria and David Beckham welcomed daughter Harper Seven into their family. I can only imagine how excited they were to have the girls join them.

June 2015
For some reason, Victoria and David Beckham have not been able to dispel rumors surrounding their marriage. This time, Victoria decided to open up about the current state of her relationship with Grazia. She said, “We love each other, we care for each other, and we are strong as partners and parents.”

November 2015
When Victoria accepted Glamor magazine's Woman of the Year award in 2015, she made sure to thank her husband. She said, “He supports me and encourages me to follow my dreams… fulfill my passion, thank you David.”

January 2017
Victoria and David Beckham renewed their vows in early 2017, and Beckham spoke about it during a conversation on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs. “It was more private. There were about six of us in the house… We stay together because we love each other, because we have four wonderful children,” the former footballer said. The players exclaimed.

June 2018
Strangely enough, rumors began to spread that the couple had divorced. However, representatives for Victoria and David Beckham quickly silenced them in a statement to People magazine. “…fake news fueled by social media. There is no imminent statement or divorce,” the representative said. Victoria posted a cute photo of herself and David's daughter Harper on Instagram, and she wrote: “Morning hug x love you so much 🙏🏻 We love and miss you @davidbeckham 💕💕💕💕 ” he captioned it.
July 2018
In a feature interview with British Vogue magazine, Victoria shed further light on unsubstantiated rumors about her and David's marriage. She said, “People have been making up things about our relationship for 20 years, so David and I are pretty used to ignoring that nonsense and living normally. It has far-reaching consequences for people and it’s unfair.”
October 2018
Speaking to Sunday's Project's Lisa Wilkinson, David reiterated that it takes a lot of work to save a marriage. “You know we've always been married and it's always been hard work, and we all know that, but you've managed to make it work and travel and spend time away from each other. “You put yourself in a difficult situation and you're doing well,” he said.

To celebrate 24 years of marriage, David Beckham posted a touching tribute to his and Victoria's marriage on Instagram, writing: “On this day 4.7.99❤️ 24 years and forevermore 👵🏼👴🏼 The best To my wife, mom, and drinking partner (the best wife),” he wrote. 🤪 ) Happy Anniversary, I love you so much ❤️ @victoriabeckham@brooklynpeltzbeckham@romeobeckham@cruzbeckham#HarperSeven ❤️❤️❤️❤️. ”

December 2023
When Victoria and David Beckham's Beckham docuseries aired on Netflix, it was widely talked about. Victoria even admitted to Allure that things changed a little for the couple after people saw it. She said: “The other night David and I drove up to our country house and went to the local pub. Someone had left a note under the windshield wiper: 'Dear Posh and Bex, On behalf of all British football fans, I am sorry.'' The note refers to how the couple were treated by British people during David's time as a footballer.
