Myenergi, a smart home energy technology company, has switched its energy supply to Good Energy.
The agreement means myenergi’s electricity usage will be supported by a renewable Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) from Good Energy’s extensive network of over 2,500 generators, covering 90% of the time.
In addition to its commercial initiatives, Myenergi also helps residential customers flexibly manage their energy consumption through innovative products such as the ‘Zappi’ smart electric vehicle (EV) charger.
The device allows EV drivers to charge during times when the power grid's carbon intensity is lower.
Tom Parsons, sales and procurement director at Good Energy, said: “Good Energy will supply MyEnergy's headquarters and manufacturing operations with hourly matched renewable energy, creating a circular approach to the carbon reductions needed across all industries.”
Karl Allen, chief executive officer at MyEnergy, commented: “Having real-time data on how our electricity usage matches up with the output of the company's portfolio of renewable energy generators means we can practice what we preach to our customers and support their transition to renewable energy.”
