The new EcoBalance system represents advanced smart home technology built for energy efficiency and connectivity. EcoBalance is designed to help home builders achieve net-zero emissions in new homes when implemented as a complete system. However, individual products will also be available through the same standard retailers that currently carry GE and Savant products. These can be installed individually or several at once as retrofits.
GE-branded large appliances can already be controlled with the GE SmartHQ app. The EcoBalance system brings these together under the same roof as Savant products and allows the combination of the two to be controlled with the Savant app.

This gives you the ability to monitor the energy consumption of certain appliances, automate which parts of your home receive power during a power outage, charge battery backups in case a storm hits, and more.
