MAWD designs interior for 400 Lake Shore Drive
400 Lake Shore Drive, designed by the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and David Childs and developed by Related Midwest, brings 635 new apartments to downtown Windy City. The studio will also have amenity spaces built across two floors, including a club room, bar, lounge, entertainment area, fitness center and indoor pool. “Every detail has been meticulously designed to be beautiful, timeless and ultra-luxury yet paradoxically casual,” Dorsey said in a statement. “There is no room for high-tech rigor in a place where everyday practicality is at a premium and a long-term sense of place and homeliness is being built.”
