Kendra Nicole (@my_home_by_kendra) has amassed nearly 210,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares her love of crafting.
She went viral on the app after she shared her process for creating the statement light feature.
She used two 4-foot pieces of lumber from Home Depot, two wooden craft boxes and picture frames from Dollar Tree, and two LED battery strip lights from Walmart.
Creative painted the wooden and craft boxes black and then secured them with screws.
She then replaced the image in the frame with marble-like paper.
Kendra attached a picture frame to the front of each craft box and ran strip lights along the back of the wooden planks.
She used command hooks to place light features vertically on either side of a large picture frame on the wall.
She secured the cord and battery pack out of sight to make the light feature look expensive.

Another DIY enthusiast shared a project that cost less than $40 and went viral on TikTok.
Abby (@a_lil_bee) said she was inspired by Pinterest to transform a non-functional fountain into a fairy garden.
She bought some figurines and miniature houses from Dollar Tree, as well as some dirt substitutes.
She and her boyfriend cleaned out the decaying fountain before using an expanding soil replacement to fill the well.
They then spent 15 minutes decoratively arranging fairies and houses to create paths.
Abby said she was “very happy” with the results and plans to add more figures in the future.
