Floor Plan 2 will see new graphics updates adding visual enhancements for both Quest 2 and Quest 3 users.
Following a growing list of games updated for Quest 3 this week alone, including The 7th Guest VR, Breachers, and Hubris, Turbo Button has now revealed that Floor Plan 2 also includes an upgrade for Quest 2 users. Simply named a “graphics update,” the update introduces a 4K texture resolution upgrade and improved material quality, which are highlighted in the head-to-head comparison below.
On Meta's latest headset, Floor Plan 2 also receives some unique upgrades, including increased framerate. It now runs at a 90Hz refresh rate, and the Quest 3 version targets a resolution of 2528×2639 per eye, a 90% improvement. There's also more detail and density in the environments, and better shading on models.
It's been a busy few months for Turbo Button. In June, the studio released a free expansion for Floor Plan 2, Backside Story, which added two to three hours of new puzzles, including an all-new elevator. Last week, the studio also released Floor Plan Remastered, making the original puzzle adventure playable on a Quest headset for the first time.
Floor Plan 2 is available now for the Meta Quest platform and PC VR for $29.99.
