She used items from local thrift stores and the Dollar Tree to create decorations that could be mistaken for luxury items.

Sarah Teresinski (@redeux_style) has over 361,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares upcycling tips.
She went viral on the app after revealing how she transformed her backyard using bargain items.

She bought an aquarium from a thrift store and transformed it into a striking centerpiece by cleaning it and sealing the cracks with electrical tape.
The DIYer then poured pea gravel into the bottom of the $6 aquarium and artistically arranged several candles at different heights.
She said the aquarium helps keep everything bright while on the outdoor table.

Sarah used Dollar Tree closet door hooks to elegantly bring out the greenery in her backyard.
I upgraded my backyard on a $1,000 budget – added a privacy fence, furniture, and decorations, and I didn't even have to pay for them.
She placed hooks of various sizes on the fence and hung flower baskets there.
She said it's “inexpensive” and the hooks can double as towels when kids play outside.
More than 82,000 viewers liked the video, with many praising the tip in the comments section.
