This cheerful Valentine's Day wreath requires only a few materials, and all items can be found at Dollar Tree. This retailer features wreath wire in a variety of shapes, but the most obvious one for this project is the heart-shaped metal wreath form. But there is nothing that says you have to choose your heart. Alternatively, you can choose butterflies, circles, crosses, or even stars. Choosing the right tablecloth color will make any shape look festive on any holiday. Choose a 3-pack of rectangular plastic table covers in white, red, and pink. In addition to tablecloths, you can also use ribbons, yarn, etc. Dollar Tree has lots of Valentine's themed ribbons and colorful threads. Also, look for small themed props to add to your wreath, like glitter heart picks or mini heart ornaments. Finally, prepare your scissors.
Begin this project by removing your first tablecloth from its packaging and keeping it folded. Cut the folded cloth into 4 equal parts. An easy way to do this without measuring is to cut the tablecloth in half and then cut that half in half. It's okay to focus on cuts throughout the project. Nothing requires perfect, accurate measurements. Once you have a stack of four strips, unfold the outer two so you can cut them in the middle. At this point you should have six groups of strips about 1 to 2 inches thick.
