Bring your safari gear and binoculars – there's plenty of wildlife to see on Halloween, and even better, a baby “bear cub” to bring along.

Fulcher's Unfiltered
What you need for this mission is…family! The great thing about choosing a PAW Patrol Halloween costume for the family is that Ryder has a large squad of pups (including favorites Skye, Marshall, and Chase) and, of course, the adult pups from the series (thanks to the Fulcher family for creating this awesome Mayer Humdinger).

After last year's Super Mario Bros. Movie, kids will want to head to the Mushroom Kingdom for costume inspiration, where a variety of costumes and accessories for characters like Donkey Kong and Bowser are available in sizes for toddlers and adults. Or, they can try their hand at DIY, like blogger Vanessa Coppola.

Disney Villains
DIY inspired
It's Halloween, and it's time for villains to shine. This family is made up of some of Disney's best and worst characters, including Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, and Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians.

This is a lot of fun because everyone can wear their favorite color. Just buy a shirt, pants, and socks in the same colors (if you want adults to join in you'll also need a shirt and pants). Then make a pattern for the cuffs and chest with black electrical tape, then make a paper hat using this template.

“Trolls”
Oh yeah studio
Last year's “Trolls Band Together” didn't make it in time for Halloween, so this year why not get your band of trolls back together? This family chose Poppy, Queen Barb, Biggie, and, funnily enough, Tiny Diamond, but your family can find the troll that best suits their personality.

Retro Music

With these three costumes, every member of the family can choose their favorite icon from a musical era gone by.
For the record:
Cut two large cardboard circles from the box. Cover both sides of the circles with black spray paint and let dry completely. While the circles are drying, print two copies of the record label template. Cut out the labels and glue one to the center of each black cardboard circle. To create shoulder and chest straps, measure the length you need. Apply two strips of black duct tape, sticky sides together, to each strap. Tape the straps to the cardboard at the front and back so that the costume can easily slide over the wearer's head. Use a paint pen to draw in the record grooves.
For mixtapes:
Cut two large rectangles from a cardboard box. Spray both sides of the circle with teal spray paint. While this dries, print two copies of the cassette label template. Cut out the labels and adhere them to the center of the cardboard rectangles. Using a black permanent marker, add the shape and outline of the cassette following the template provided. Create shoulder and chest straps following the instructions above (instructions for the record). Tape them to the front and back of the cardboard so they can easily be slipped over the head.
For the disco ball:
Cut two large circles out of a cardboard box. Spray both sides of the circles with silver spray paint and let dry completely. While that dries, cut a 1″ x 2″ rectangle of foil. Cut a piece of duct tape 1/2″ wide and place the foil rectangle sticky side down so that most of the foil hangs down (it will look like a flag banner). Starting from the bottom, adhere the tape/foil banner to the silver cardboard circle so that the top layer overlaps the bottom layer. This will create a tile effect. Cut or fold back the tape around the edges of the circle to maintain a round “mirror ball” shape. Complete the two circles, front and back. Create shoulder and chest straps as instructed above (instructions for the record). Tape the cardboard to the front and back so that it can be easily slipped over your head.
