During Milan Design Week 2024 (16-21 April), in its atelier within the historic Palazzo Chiesa, Bentley Home will present six new collections that celebrate materials, lightness of form and its first foray into the home office.
The new range brings a fresh perspective to contemporary luxury furniture, in collaboration with designers Carlo Colombo, Federico Pelli and Francesco Forcellini. Each Bentley Home designer has applied their knowledge, innovative use of new sustainable materials, craft and cutting-edge production techniques, working closely with the Bentley Motors design team in Crewe to enable the highest level of customisation.
Chris Cook, head of Bentley Design Collaboration, said: “Dynamism and a lighter touch define our new 2024 collection. It is a gathering of designers with a shared commitment to translating and elevating Bentley's distinctive design DNA – comfort, craftsmanship and elegance – into contemporary furnishings. And we are taking the level of ultimate personalisation and customisation even further.”
Bentley Home 2024 Collection
Wilton desk designed by Francesco Forcellini
Bentley Home's first foray into the world of the home office. Born from collaboration with Francesco Forcellini, the design is a symbol of dynamism and clean lines, combining curved details with artisanal craftsmanship. The dual shell profile opens to reveal a drawer beneath the top, which seamlessly transitions into slim lines towards the base, emphasising the sense of lightness. The gradient finish enhances the flowing movement. At Milan Design Week it will be shown in Liquid Amber with a special customisation in Dark Shadow and Warm Grey Fiddleback Sycamore with a special customisation in Deep Ocean.
Bollington office armchair designed by Francesco Forcellini
The Bollington Office Armchair captures the essence of Bentley with its sophisticated design and strong aesthetic presence. The backrest has a minimalist design with a single surface that curves in three dimensions to achieve precise volumetric balance with the Wilton desk. The seat spans two side sections, defining the armrests and mirroring the shape of the desk in an organic, flowing way.
Loftus sofa designed by Federico Pelli
Federico Pelli designed a modular sofa for Bentley Home, introducing a refined approach with sculptural lines and new organic shapes. The floating cushions create a sense of lightness, further enhanced by the side tables integrated into the seats. The side tables are made of marble or upholstered in leather, incorporating a play of different layers. These accents feature ribbed textures, beveled edges and lines inspired by automotive design, creating a geometric, vibrant and asymmetrical look. The sofa's back structure is gently sloping, allowing a glimpse of the back cushions, exuding unparalleled comfort and elegance. The sofa is available in a premium open pore veneer finish.
Chilton armchair and chair designed by Carlo Colombo
The Chilton seat line was designed by Carlo Colombo in collaboration with the Bentley Motors design team and the Bentley Home Style office. Its sinuous, enveloping curves express a series of contours and radii that continue from the seat to the ground. The outer shell features a leather shell with strips of veneer inserted, accentuating the sense of movement and a strong homage to the automotive industry.
Lamport Bed, designed by Carlo Colombo
The Langport bed is one of Bentley Home's most iconic pieces. The external panel can be veneered, highlighted by special customisation, combined with black lacquer and finished in leather or fabric. The internal headboard can be made of fabric, leather or sustainable leather. The panel features a striped diamond pattern with metal inlay. A sophisticated reading light is inserted into the headboard and seamlessly integrated, casting a soft, soothing glow that enhances charm and promotes a relaxed mood.
