For a minimalist bedroom, choose a frameless mirror that creates a seamless effect that looks like it's part of the room. Alternatively, choose a mirror designed to mimic the shape of a traditional window frame. This will help create a realistic effect.
Interestingly, placing a mirror between two windows can trick the eye into thinking there is another window there. This trick works if you want to give your room a more open feel.
“In small bedrooms, mirrors should be placed opposite or adjacent to windows to better reflect light,” says Jessica Lagrange, principal designer at Jessica Lagrange Interiors. “This creates more space in the room and gives the illusion of a brighter area. Regardless of the size of the room, a mirror can be placed above a nightstand or above a dresser.”
