This week we hear a special report from World Africa correspondent Halima Zikandi about the dark side of orphanages and children's homes in Uganda.
Decades of research around the world has shown that orphanages can have a negative impact on children's development, which is why the United States has phased them out. Still, Americans continue to send money to orphanages around the world.
