It's designed to be wall mounted (a stand mount is also sold separately) and the box comes with everything you need to mount it on your wall: the hub itself, a USB-C cable for power, a paper mounting template, and two screws (yes, two). So, while it does require some DIY skills, once you've got the Echo Hub in place and plugged into a new power source, setup is super easy. Just connect it to your home Wi-Fi network (or Ethernet via a compatible Power over Ethernet (PoE) adapter), log in and register with your Amazon account, review your details, choose a device name and wake word, and tell it to discover your device with the power of your lips. Then all you have to do is wait a few moments while the hub scans for compatible devices around your home. Alexa will notify you when it's done, and then, like digital magic, you'll have instant access to all your smart plugs, cameras (with multiple views), lights, assistants, speakers, locks, and more from widgets on the hub's dashboard.
