Once you have your wreath cutter and clothespins ready, the fun begins. Clip the clothespins onto the wreath to create a rainbow effect. You can use any pattern you like. The goal is to have fun with summer outdoor decor trends. Once half of the wreath is covered with clothespins, insert your welcome sign. It should snap on easily. If not, you can use wire to connect it to the wreath cutter. Once clipped, clip the clothespins onto the wreath cutter and you're done!
Now you need to attach the wreath to your door. You can drill holes in the welcome insert and attach zip ties as shown in the video. If you don't have zip ties you can also use twine. You can also buy a welcome sign with twine attached to make it easy to attach this fun summer wreath after you're done using it.
The great thing about this project is that you can try out different wreath shapes. If you want a larger wreath, Dollar Tree sells an 18-inch metal wreath mold for $1.25. They also sell square and bow wreath molds for the same price. If you want to change up this hack, don't hesitate to buy some colorful ribbon and tuck it between the clothespins. It adds a little fun to an already fun project.
